Sonja Jones: I love the kids, the energy.

Jamaica O'Brien: That moment. If you're teaching chemistry and one kid gets balancing equations and you see it.

Ken Slats: And as a teacher at SCCPSS, you also feel it.

Sonja Jones: Do your best. That's what I'm asking you.

Ken Slats: Changing lives every day.

Sonja Jones: Just seeing them come from kindergarten to now third grade and they're able to read. And just seeing that the growth.

Jamaica O'Brien: When I have the kid who's had his head down for two months come to me and say, what can I do to improve my grade? And then he does it. Getting through that, you said it and getting through to the kids. Plus, I love them way back.

Sonja Jones: Jueve... Thursday. The satisfaction because I always call my students the future leaders. You don't know. You may be teaching the next president of the United States. You may be teaching the next senator, the next astronaut. It's just the satisfaction of being able to impact the lives of these little humans.

Ken Slats: The impact is meaningful, the influence infinite, and the support superb.

Jamaica O'Brien: If they both continue to grow. I love the people that I work with. The collegiality here is very much better than other schools that I've been at. It's a really collaborative, kind, caring group of people, like minded people.

Sonja Jones: I have a lot of support. They're just a great team. You belong here.
