We hope to see your family at our annual Books, Blankets & Family Fun event to celebrate reading and literacy in Daffin Park (1500 E. Victory Drive) on Saturday, April 26, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. There will be reading activities, vendor booths, music and games, guest readers, student performances, speakers, and the always-popular Teddy Bear Clinic.

Alvie Alligator Encourages Students to Read

United Way of the Coastal Empire, SCCPSS, and Live Oak Public Libraries are teaming up to promote the use of Live Oak Public Libraries PLAY Cards.  The PLAY Card is a student’s key to free books, learning tools, and resources. It provides fines-free borrowing and access to digital materials, helping students succeed in school and beyond.
